The KLOwen Story

Ryan Elmore joined KLOwen as the Chief Executive Officer in January 2023. He joined KLOwen in January 2023, bringing extensive commercial leadership experience over 15 years. His previous companies include Ethicon Endo-Surgery, Intuitive Surgical, Danaher, and most recently, Align Technology, where he was the General Manager of iTero Restorative for the Americas. Ryan served in various roles, including increasing responsibility in sales, sales leadership, and marketing. Prior to corporate America, he spent ten years serving the United States Navy as a Naval Flight Officer. Ryan received a BS in Industrial Engineering from Auburn and an MBA from The Ohio State University.

Jerry Metz joined KLOwen as the Chief Operations Officer in July 2021. He has over 30 years of experience in medtech, healthcare, technology, and software as a service industry sector. Jerry brings a broad range of operations experience to KLOwen, which includes business modeling, culture building, rapid scaling, and lean Six Sigma practices. He served as Chief Operations Officer for OraMetrix, Inc., a leading provider of innovative 3-D orthodontic technology solutions, from 2006 to 2021. He was integral to the management team that built the OraMetrix SureSmile platform and operations scaling plan. Before OraMetrix, he held various roles in advanced engineering and manufacturing supply chain management for various technology and semiconductor startups. Jerry received a BS in Aerospace Engineering from the University of Texas and an MBA from Southern Methodist University.

Jay Widdig joined KLOwen as the Chief Financial Officer in November 2021. He has over 35 years of experience in medtech, healthcare, technology, and software as a service industry sector. Jay brings extensive financial expertise to KLOwen, including a background in corporate finance, M&A transactions, and financial planning and analysis with global public and private companies. From 2002 to 2020, he served as Chief Financial Officer of OraMetrix, Inc., a leading provider of innovative 3-D orthodontic technology solutions that Dentsply Sirona Inc. acquired in May 2018. Before joining OraMetrix, he held various managerial positions, including Senior Director of Finance and Administration and other financial roles. Jay received a BS in Accounting from Cameron University and an MBA from Oklahoma City University. He currently resides in Allen, Texas, with his wife.

Paige Asady joined KLOwen as the VP of Marketing in November 2023. She is a high-energy marketing professional with over 20 years of experience developing and leading teams to define and deliver differentiated brand experiences that grow market share and build customer loyalty. She also has extensive experience in both B2B and B2C marketing in the orthodontic space. A strategic leader with demonstrated success in recognizing and maximizing individual, agency, and cross-functional team strengths, Paige is part cheerleader and change agent, bringing innovative and customer-focused approaches through disrupting the status quo. Before joining KLOwen, Paige refined her marketing craft with companies such as Candid, Align Technology, Lenovo, and Verizon. She resides in Raleigh, NC, with her husband, three children, and three dogs.

Jason Clark joined KLOwen as the Director of Special Markets in February 2023. He is an award-winning, results-driven sales leader with over 15 years of experience in Orthodontics and Digital Dentistry at various companies, including ORMCO and Align Technology. Jason is passionate about building and cultivating high-performing consultative sales teams. He received his BS from Texas Tech University and resides in Houston with his wife and two daughters. In his spare time, he enjoys hunting, fishing, and cycling.

Joel Arens joined KLOwen as the Director of Sales in January 2023. He has over 20 years of experience in the medical space and spent the last ten years with Align Technology, where he was the Director of US Business Development. As a proven sales leader with Align, he supported several successful teams and innovative projects, including Invisalign Pro, Patient Financing, ADAPT Consulting, Ortho Marketing Board, and Retainer and Doctor Subscription program. Joel received his BS in Finance from the University of Houston and resides in Raleigh, NC, with his wife and five children.
